Time Machines 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible

Time Machines 1971 Plymouth Barracuda ConvertibleThis Barracuda is the work of Time Machines in Hudson, Florida and is actually a combination of two cars. The body is that of a 1971 Cuda but the chassis and engine are from a 2001 Dodge Viper.
Time Machines started off by stripping the two vehicles down and then lining up the Viper chassis and Cuda body. The hood was actually the original Barracuda hood which was altered to open and tilt electronically and then splattered with “Viper Powered” badges from an SRT-10 pickup.

The Viper’s V10 engine was dropped in giving the Barracuda a whopping 450 HP. A Tremec 6-speed manual transmission was also installed along with a fully independent suspension reinforced with a set of Aldan coilover shocks. To finish off the exterior Time Machines fitted the stock Viper SRT 6-lug wheels wrapped in 18 inch Michelin tires.
The Plymouth actually started off as a five seater but was morphed into a two-seater. The dashboard is completely custom built with Viper gauges and simple leather-wrapped surfaces. Where the back seat used to be sits speakers from the new Pioneer stereo.
This one of a kind 1971 Plymouth Cuda Convertible comes with a hefty price tag of $199,900
