The 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack is a brand-new trim level of this popular muscle car, featuring a fresh new design and 6.4L HEMI engine. Its price starts at $39,995 not including delivery fees.
Exterior and Interior Design
The 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack rides on a set of 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires. The stock front grille and bumper have been replaced by the new, unique units, the new bumper is wider and come with integrated splitter. The hood is similar to the one featured on the new Challenger T/A Concept, it is made of aluminum and has a power bulge in its center. ON the back, there’s a matte-black spoiler mounted on the trunk. The rear bumper also received changes, there are two small air outlets, integrated diffuser and a pair of large exhaust tips.
Although there are no photos of the car’s interior (below you can see a photo of the base model’s dashboard), we know that the new 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack will come with upgraded, more driver-oriented cabin. Added are some new gadgets, like the 8.4-inch Uconnect touch display with installed Performance Pages app, allowing the driver to control many settings. Than, there is a SiriusXM Radio, AM/FM radio, 6-speaker audio system with 276W amplifier, Bluetooth connectivity, parking assistant and rearview camera. Other updates include performance front seats, sports steering wheel, instrument cluster with 180-mph speedometer and 7-inch DID screen.
HEMI Engine and Performance
The 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack is powered by a 6.4L naturally aspirated HEMI V-8 engine producing 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox by TorqueFlite. It also has paddle shifters. This powertrain allows the car to reach the speed of 60 mph in about 12 seconds, while its maximum speed is limited to 180 miles per hour. Another performance upgrades include an active exhaust system which is controlled electronically, high-performance suspension, and Brembo braking package with four-piston calipers.
2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Price
As for the pricing, the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack will go on sale later this year or early next year for the retail price of $39,995.
